Yup.

Fortunately for us in Ohio, the first system that went through earlier this week and then came out here a couple of days later tracked through Iowa/Minnesota/Wisconsin/Michigan, with blizzard warnings yesterday throughout that region. We were south of that, so we only got a dusting of snow, if that, and a lot of wind and now-colder temps. Not sure whether this new system will take the same track or not (although that track is the most frequent one taken by winter storms heading out here), but as an educated guess, it seems likely.

Sometimes I'm glad I live 2000 miles away . . .

We did, however, receive snow last weekend. Just a dusting, gone in 2 hours, but the 2nd earliest snow accumulation on record.

Yikes. I guess I won't be hiking the entire John Muir Trail this weekend.

This morning, the web cam is giving us peek-a-boo views, and from what I can see, it's going to be a spectacular view when the clouds finally clear away.

But they won't clear soon. It's still raining here. Everything is absolutely soaked!
