Idyllwild CA Area Hike via Deer Spring Trail to Suicide Rock

If you live in Southern California or you're visiting Idyllwild and would like to take a hike, don't pass up the chance to hike the Deer Spring Trail. It's a well shaded hike, lots of green, hardly any rocks to walk over, a beautiful creek flows through the middle and it has a gradual incline all the way to Suicide Rock. The incline is constant but it's so gradual you hardly notice it. This trail gives you a gain of a little over 2,000 ft. in elevation. I'll do this hike over and over again. It's approx. a 7.0 mile hike, may a bit under 7 miles.
