See pics and story @ Bicksler 7 Blog Whitney Oct 29th 2011 TRIP WAS A HUGE SUCCESS, PERFECT WEATHER!!! Basecamp Saturday 10-29-11 Halfway up Whitney 10-30-11 And A HUGE Summit Success! Whitney is always a Blast! We could not believe how great the weather was this weekend.. summit was in the 30's with no wind and picture perfect clear sky! According to dmatt's post today, you were very fortunate to have such nice weather at this time of the year. Yes, it appears your Mt. Whitney trek was a huge success. The egg-oatmeal dish looks interesting....I'll have to give it a try...I like eggs and I like oatmeal so it must be good. Thank you for posting your trip report.
