Well, we may be in da boonies but we've got some fun talks lined up for this winter/spring.

First, the Inyo Council for the arts has a talk series going on, usually minimal cost, like $10, to get in. See the schedule here, but it includes Andy Selters, Lisa Rands, Peter Croft, Aron Ralston, and Kurt Wedberg!

Then, Snowcreek Athletic Club in Mammoth has its own Adventure Slideshow Series. My good friend John Dittli, will be giving a 35-year retrospective of skiing in the Eastern Sierra on Jan. 24th:
