For those in the Fresno area, this is the group that published my last several articles. They put on great public lectures, free, with a reception with the speakers following.
I'm going to try to be there.

Feb 28th.

This is scarey. I would hate to think any Californian would not have access to healthcare whenever they wanted or needed it. If everyone lived in the big metropolitan areas just because they needed healthcare who would farm the land and tend to livestock, just to name a couple of important items concentrated in the heartland of California. America's food supply is as important as healthcare. People are living longer now not only because of good healthcare but also because of good nutrition and ample supplies of food. I could go on, but I think I've made my point. The people of Central California should have access to all the amenities for a healthy lifestyle that any other Californian has.

If only Tioga was still open. Dang.

Totally relevant for my field/area as well. Funny how the Central Valley is considered rural, and the eastern Sierra isn't considered, well, part of CA sometimes. Heading north from here, to the NE corner of the state, skews that focus even further.

Wish I could go. frown

Great news, MT!

They record all events, and they are available online by about 9am the next morning on their website!

I'll wave, but would much rather have you there! smile
