lynn-a-roo> QS, "Think Only Good Thoughts" ...

quillansculpture> So.... you're saying I should think about a bikini clad Scarlett Johansson giving me a shoulder massage....

OMG! Thought I'd see who this dream was, so I went to Google Images. The sheer number of pictures kills me.

NOW you see why I would think about her before I went under.... and of course think about her now, yesterday, tomorrow, when I sleep, when I wake, when I work, when I do dishes..... wow, I'm just exhausted thinking about her. But, in reality, I heard she's quite a ........ hmm, not sure what word I can use. Oh well, she's awfully cute.

It appears that the cute little girl from the Horse Whisperer movie in 1998 has grown up into a gorgeous beauty !!

lol, you guys are funny!

QS,

If you're a Spa and Massage type of guy then you know you're going to have to ask Scarlet for a "Happy Ending" or you make wake up from your surgery disappointed.

Sweet Dreams My Friend,

I wonder if Ms. Johansson ponders the benefits of Salomon trail runners v. heavy duty Asolos? Whether to bring the Kahtoola microspikes, the full on crampons, or to just wing it with trekking poles? If she climbed Mt. Whitney, would she go up the MT, MR, or perhaps make her own trail?

Or is the point that it doesn't really matter.... smile

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Scarlett visited me in dreamland..... Okay, no she didn't.
Surgery is over and I'm feeling GREAT. Hmmmmm, I've got a call into the doctor to see if he really did surgery. I've already been to a coffee shop, done dishes, cleaned up the house a bit and also some paperwork. BUT, I'm sure I'll feel this in the morning.
I'm gonna try the treadmill on Saturday.
Thanks for the notes and well wishes. If anyone knows Scarlett, let her know I'm okay :-)

Joe, care to share what activity you engaged in on your way home from the surgical procedure . . . ?

Gary, be nice....
Okay, I'll admit, Scarlett called me and we enjoyed some Seared Ahi and several glasses of Cristal Champagne out off of the Malibu Pier, followed by a romantic stroll on the beach at Paradise Cove.

Okay... the truth as boring as it is: I went to the gym to say hi to my friends (they asked me to if I could), then went over to the bicep machine and lifted 5 lbs ONCE, just to be a "rebel". No pressure was put on my stomach.... and the doctor told me that I wasn't allowed to lift anymore than 10 pounds for the first 4 weeks. The gym will be off limits, with the exception of the treadmill (which I have been given permission to do) until April 3rd.
Now, if I had engaged in some type of promiscuous activity with Scarlett....... then I could understand your concern.

As a note, my stomach is feeling 80 to 85%, no pain and I have not had to take any pain medication at all. My stomach only hurt when I was screaming at the Lakers last night... :-)

QS,
I thought about you often yesterday and wondered how you were doing. I checked the WZ last night to find you came through you surgery feeling GREAT. Hey, I wouldn't be so quick to say Scarlett didn't visit you in dreamland....maybe you're just one those type of people who don't remember their dreams. Sounds like your surgery 'ended happily' ...hmmmmm?

I've had a hernia for a a few months now. Due to scheduling I can't get surgery until Aug. or Sept. My Dr. told me to get a "truss". Unclear as to what a truss was I went online and found a bunch of them. Its a device that pushes on the hernia and helps hold it in. Anyway I ordered one and got it three days ago. To my surprise this thing works.. Check it out
