What In The World Happened Here? CXIX (119): The place has been referred to as El Dorado, but the gold comes in identical, discrete units. Is this the fabled school of hard knocks? I'd characterize it as a far-away place that has proven to be an incredible concentration of talent. Talent with fortitude? Wasn't OddJob employed there for a short period?

Talent with fortitude? Wasn't OddJob employed there for a short period? Fortitude is good. A prime characteristic is endurance, followed by a healthy dose of speed. I don't associate OddJob with the place, but maybe I need to watch Goldfinger again. It's been a long time.

What In The World Happened Here? CXXII (122): Too many buildings, too few wings, and two few engines to be the Wright Brothers. Plus it has a Euro look.

What In The World Happened Here? CXVII (117):
Hap, Amelia, Jimmie D., Chuck, John G., Jacqueline, Eddie & Charles L. all present and accounted for. Hap Arnold Amelia Earhart Jimmie Doolittle Chuck Yeager John Glenn Jacqueline Cochrane Eddie Rickenbacker Charles Lindbergh Are pilots, not all dead yet. At first I thought the wings might be a clue about the Burbank Portal to Valhalla, but it appears not. The glider over a European city must be someone else. too many quizzes going on for me to keep straight.

too many quizzes going on for me to keep straight. I am trying to keep the summary up to date. I claim that there are four currently active puzzles, including the two flight-related ones.

What In The World Happened Here? CXXII (122): Cold. It's cold. It's cold. Or at least I was cold. Finally, I tried "glider low over town" and added possible countries, one by one. Brute force solution to a puzzle about an elegant plot. And the launching ramp is even in the picture. I had no idea what that was!

What In The World Happened Here? CXX (120): Eva thinks we should give out another clue about her little church, but that would be redundant. You should comment on the Yorkshire pudding picture, though.

What In The World Happened Here? CXXIII (123): This is a deep puzzle. Nothing springs to mind. Any collegiate advice available?
