Look at the rise of that crossing. Most truckers probably notice and stay away, but sheesh, it would seem like after half a dozen high-center problems, they might think about regrading the roads to prevent high-centering vehicles.

knowing there are some space fans on this board, here's something experimentally and artsy, and as far as I understand this video, it is every space shuttle mission launch ever, all in one frame in sync

Not sure how many of you ride bicycles to stay fit. I have no mountains here, so cycling is my cardio thing (when my arm is not in a cast like right now ). Tour de France soon back on, and everyone will talk about how super-human these modern athletes are. Well, are they? Here's a reconstruction video of a classic 1910 stage which today would never make it on the schedule (TV needs daylight I guess...). Just amazing when you consider they did that 100 years ago, before electrolyte drinks and support vehicles, domestiques, etc...
Re: the Yosemite Range of Light video a few posts up, WOW!!! Such beautiful time-lapse and music (I'm a musician, so am a little more picky about music). Exceptional video!!
Same for the Mont Blanc speed para-skiing video! Amazing and beautiful!
Thanks for posting these!

Burchey had better beware... Hike with a moose, and maybe never remember it.
Probably the hoof on the head.
