The following avalanche forecast is for today, December 24th, 2012. Although this report is for Mono County, the Inyo County portion of the Eastern Sierra Nevada is also reporting heavy snow and high hazard.

The avalanches have already begun in my area (some areas received up to 5ft+ of new snow in a relatively short period of time)
