I'm reorganizing my belongings and (reluctantly) need to find new homes for 2 antique sleeping bags.

1) North Face Expedition, circa 1972. 10" loft, baffles at 3".

I forget the rating, but it is well below freezing. This cost around $400 at the time. It has been stored in a mesh bag, and it has seen little use since water-cleaning about 10 years ago. There is more info (with pics) at Backpacker Magazine.

2) Paddy Pallin Australian bag from the '60s.

One of the earliest bags to use baffles rather than sewn-through. Nowhere near as warm as the Expedition!

Wagga: I have seen that NF bag in action, and was impressed with loft and general condition. Compatible vintage to my 72 Tioga.

How much, mate?

Holding off for the time being, as my plans have kinda drifted.

Besides, I may need it in DV soon.

You have pole position.
