Though these are a week old (June7-9), I thought I would post some photos. There is no need for any snow gear, at least by the West Face route on Williamson or the North Rib route on Tyndall.

Great update and pictures.
We're planning to be up there from the 26th to the 29th.
Any snow before the Shepherds pass?
Water at the pond on top the pass?
What were the temps at night?
Thanks.
Julius

Awesome pictures! Thanks!

I'm curious to know more details: Where did you camp, etc.

I camped at the Sheperds Pass lake, great views and a great jumping off point for many different climbs (Williamson, Tyndall, Junction, Versteeg, Trojan).

The night time low was just about freezing, but I was warm and toasty.

The Shepherds Pass snowfield is booted down fairly well and easy to cross without gear.

Plenty of water at both lakes

I have a question with respect to the ascent.
I will also be doing this trip on the 26-29th of July, and I am wondering if there is a need to carry all the gear up to the summit, rather than leaving it it behind at Anvil or any lower points wherever you may camp? Weather would be my only concern - and reason to bring all my gear to the summit.

I haven't seen anyone mention this aspect of the hike up...

Any help is appreciated!
Kost

Kost, I assume you are asking whether to bring your gear to Shepherd Pass, not the summit(s). The answer depends in what you intend to climb and how strong/fast you are. If you are only doing one peak, camping at Anvil Camp should work fine. If you are doing more than one peak on different days, it pays to haul your camp to Shepherd Pass because this will make your summit days shorter. If you’re doing multiple peaks on the same day, the choice hinges on whether you are confident that you can climb those peaks in one day from the lower camp. Tyndall is very straightforward, but Williamson Bowl and the route-finding on Williamson can be time consuming. Some people camp in Williamson Bowl to climb Williamson. A final consideration is that camping higher has greater potential for altitude sickness. Here is a TR from the last time I did Williamson and Tyndall.
