(cross posted from the Portal Store forums)

Finally made it up Langley last week. Not much in terms of a trip report, pretty much perfect weather up OAP after two nights acclimating in Onion Valley. Pass is entirely clear of snow, obviously.

Thought some might be interested in my attempt at an extremely thorough Peak Identification from the top:

(click for absurdly large and readable version)

And the rest of my photos for those who are interested:

Photos from Onion Valley/Kearsarge Pass

Photos from Mt Langley

Cheers! smile

Thanks so much for posting this! thanks

That takes a lot of work to edit a photo and identify the peaks. I am curious what process you followed to identify them.

I am sure your picture will be useful to other Mt Langley hikers.

Thanks smile

I used a combination of known peaks (Whitney, Kaweahs, Williamson, etc), online topo maps (gmap4), and a healthy dose of Google Earth

Wow, nice work!

I created a similar image for Mt. Whitney, but I found all of the peak names in a book, so it was much easier!

Great photo work! I wish I had that peak when I was on top of Langley a few weeks ago!
