Anyone want to attempt the above, like the guys here ?

Check out all the videos here, one for each climb in the quest (a process still underway).

The "blog" link gives a lot of narrative about everything too.

Seriously, a whole lot of cool video here. (I'm glad I connected an HDMI cable from my pc to my 55" HDTV!)

Nope, but a very cool video.

I've done the East Face of Whitney and plan on doing the Southeast Face of Clyde Minaret next year. LOL, 49 more to go.

The Bugaboo Spire is a possibility someday.

The Cassin Ridge is a dream, but I don't think I will ever put in the time, commitment and dedication to ever get to that level of climbing.

I took my only backcountry leader fall half way up the lower Exum Ridge. I broke my foot in two places, bailed off the route, didn’t realize my foot was broken, and soloed the upper Exum Ridge to the summit.

I’ve soloed the East Face of Whitney several times and I’ve done Charlotte Dome and Traveler Buttress. 3½ down and 46½ that will never get done.

Bob, I'm surprised an experienced guy like you hasn't done the SE Face of Clyde considering it's so close to home. What's stopping you from going up there for a weekend?

My first trip to the Minarets was Labor Day weekend of 1995. Eight summits (including Clyde) in three days were exhausting enough without the extra gear and time that route would have required. Once I bagged the summit, I never got around to going back to do the harder route that was right at the limit of what I could lead on a good day.
