As the inexorable cold of winter coats our beloved Sierra Nevada, I love having awesome artists like the fine folks at The Muir Project who did all the cinematograpy, musical composition and still photography in this video.

Seriously, this is one of the most wonderfully uplifting pieces I've seen in some time. This made my day.

You just made my day by posting this. Thank you. Life has had it's ups and downs for me lately. This video put my life back in perspective. Happy Thanksgiving my fellow Whitney Zoner.

If you liked the clip, you'll love the trail. Changed my life. As of Jan 1 (at the latest), I will be a resident of Valley Ford, California. Not exactly in view of the Range of Light, but within weekend distance. Feel like I'm coming home.

Hey Salty,
Great to hear you are moving west. I moved to NorCal back in 1985 and have never looked back. Too many reasons to list.
I had to "google" Valley Ford, California to find it, but seems a wonderful destination.
Regards,
John

Wow! Looks like a great spot to land. I drove the entire Hwy 1 north of SF once. Took a very long time. By the way, the last person I met from Petaluma was at Hamilton Lake on the HST!

Snacking Bear: Thanks for the video. We have other threads on the Mile Mile and a Half movie. I got to see it in a theater.
