We have recently received a snapshot from her from the lower elevations of Mt. Sharp (18,000 feet) She is making slow but steady progress, as her curiosity finds her stopping frequently to take a close look at rocks & stuff. I think she'd make better time if she wasn't so absent-minded.

Or it could be just another Mars rock. From a Huffpost story from 3 years ago: "Turns out there is a straightforward explanation for the rock. Project scientist John Grotzinger told The Independent that the pyramid rock shape is not uncommon on Mars. Wind erosion probably did the carving." Sheesh In fact, there are several of them in the OP here.

Seems like there is a spring. Probably at the start of the 23rd switchback.
