What is the status of the Horseshoe Meadows road?
Nice report on the status of those two roads. (Road conditions are in the second paragraph of the forecast):
Here is the scope on the Tioga pass. Tioga pass is still set for possible opening on Memorial Day. The NFS has plowed all the way to the pass itself on the east side and Mono County has cleared the road to the pass on the west side. The only issues are the on-going cool and unsettled weather and the possibility of avalanches on the road. Workers will start blasting the avalanche areas next week. So for now, we will wait and see.
As far as the White Mtns. go, the paved road is OPEN to Shulman Grove and the dirt road is OPEN to Silver Canyon. June 10 looks like the opening of the dirt road all the way to the gate at the White Mtn. Trail head.
