I mentioned it before, I will again. Standing for this is what truly matters... I've said that this would be my back-up tactic for YEARS. I want a life-saving royalty or something wink

Lolz

Also of note, this works against crocodiles and gators. Those animals both have a flesh flap at the back of their mouths that keeps water out of their throats and respiratory system. Shoving your hand down their throats while submerged will break that seal and they will release.

Thanks for posting Frank!

Snacking Bear - if you ever come here to Cairns, I can arrange for you to practice on a 6 meter croc. He would be over 20 feet, but apparently something bigger than him bit off some of his tail...

Wagga, sounds like a date! And don't be so modest, if you bit off the croc's tail, just tell us!

The crocodile is a protected species, so I am advised to not comment.

This is just a baby.

The restaurant next to this sign in the CBD serves a tasting plate of emu, kangaroo and crocodile.

Forgive me for being a little skeptical here. Not saying its not possible, or that the gag reflex thing is wrong, but did it really happen in this case? Any corroboration by the brother or any other evidence? No wound at all on the right arm? the bear just "left"?

Good on him for surviving the attack, but Hmmm.
