Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Onion Valley Campground - Kearsarge Pass

I've never been to Kearsarge Pass. Will there be snow on the trail to the pass around July 11 this year? And at the Onion valley campground - is there room for 3 small tents on most of the campsites? How about 2 cars in addition to 3 tents?

My guess is little or no snow on the trail in July. Probably no snow.

Campsites aren’t terribly large, and they aren’t particularly level, either. Three small tents and one car? Probably. Three small tents and two cars? Maybe not. There is overflow parking at the entrance to the campground, so you can park one car there.
