I'm heading up sometimes in April to climb with a friend around Mammoth and the Palisades region for a few days but have some extra time off.
Any Whitney Zoners have mountaineering and/or technical climbing experience and interested in a big(ger) trip down South? I was thinking about something like the Northeast Ridge of Williamson or Langley via Tuttle Creek all the way to Russell, but open to suggestions. Not interested in the Whitney area unless you are very capable and not have problems with climbing something technical like the East Face or preferably something on the Third Needle or the East side of Muir. I just want to get out there and do something a little more exciting, take advantage of the snow conditions, and work on technique, gear, experience, etc. This will of course be a multi-day trip.
