Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Overnight permit - June 25th available. Aug permit anyone?

Hello Everyone,

My wife and I were planning to hike on June 25th. However, based on current reports, it appears that the switchbacks to Trail Crest are still covered with snow and we would need crampons & ice axe. We have no prior experience with hiking in snow and so we would like to postpone our trip. Would someone like to swap their permits for late July/August with our current permits - 2 Trail camp overnight permit for Sunday June 25th.
