Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion What are the Sawmill Pass or Pinchot Pass conditions like?

Has anyone been up Sawmill Pass recently? I am going up there next week, and plan to drop down to the JMT and over Pinchot Pass, and then to Bench Lake. I am wondering if I need to bring any traction devices along that route.
