Mt Whitney Zone Forums Trip Reports Trip Report - June 12/13th

Alright, so, I wrote this on my own blog because I've never used the forum before and wanted to make sure I didn't lose all my words, but I wanted to post it here too for you guys. I went up to Whitney this last weekend with friends -- we didn't summit, but we didn't plan on it, but we were close.

And if I didn't tell you on the trail, let me reiterate - It does my old heart good to see the younger generation out on the trail.

Loved the TR Kristin. Always nice reading a report by someone with a good command of the language - very well written. Sounds like you had a great experience, and will probably be back this summer for another summit attempt?

By the bye, how many dirty limericks did wagga tell you during your brief time together?

Haha - Thanks so much! I had a great great time and if I can swing it, I'll head back. I am training right now for an Ironman, so my weekends are generally bike (as opposed to hike) focused. However, if possible, i'd love to get on the trail and to the top!

@wagga - It was great to meet you too. I think the younger generation is always eager -- it's that preplanning and reservations part that throws us off!
