Agreed. Unfortunately for the state's water supplies, this isn't good. But it's improbable that the weather will ever catch up in the next 2-3 months.

But for early hiking season, stream crossings won't be a big issue.

I hear you, but after the last two years, I don't feel bad about a year in which I can bag more peaks.
