Just kinda keeping an online diary here....

Did a nice little 6 mile hike on Sunday. The hike started with the steep uphill that I used throughout my training. I felt great on the uphill and I am continuing to shave minutes off of my ascent time.

I also gave blood today. I do this regularly and I keep track of what my BP and pulse rate are from these visits. My resting pulse is 64 and my BP was 110/75. Definite improvement across the board. I'm definitely feeling like I have more stamina and the numbers support it. Kind of at a plateau on the weight loss thing. I'm still shooting for losing 30-40lbs before my next whitney summit attempt.

However...I am an optimist. I am trying to decide what next year's big hike will be. Currently entertaining
