Highway 108 Sonora Pass, Highway 4 Ebbett's Pass and Highway 120 Tioga Pass in Yosemite are free and clear with no restrictions. Caltrans was able to reopen the passes just in time for weekend traveling."

With the permit system in place the lines and crowds no longer exist.
I am headed to Yosemite next weekend. Going to "rough" it Friday night by staying in only a 4 star Hotel, Tenaya Lodge. Saturday night we get to up grade to a 5 star hotel, the Ahwanee.
