Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Permit Acceptance - Web site not responsive

Morning all,

My permit was granted for 8/25. I logged in to the web site to accept it but I get an error "This permit reservation cannot be processed. Please try again later.".

I guess Recreation.gov may be overloaded....am I the only one with this problem?

I was not successful this morning either. I think someone else got through before you. I'm so bummed but hopeful I can find open slots for our group.

oh nevermind. I would call in and ask. If you have an permit that was successful in the lottery then maybe the system is just overloaded like you said.

I tried again and was able to accept my reservation.

The web site most certainly appears to be struggling with the traffic....very slow.
