I am planning to do an overnight hike on July 14. While some in our group submitted Whitney last year, I am curious about how much snow will be on the trail at this time. We are not prepared to go up the chute so if anyone could post pictures or their thoughts on the snow conditions of the switchbacks that would be greatly appreciated. Some of us have microspikes, and we all have trekking poles.
