Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Memorial Weekend....reservations can be made

For those interested, Recreation.gov is open for campsite reservations at the Whitney Portal Family campsites. Just reserved 2 sites for Memorial Weekend.

You go there most years on Memorial weekend, don't you.

Probably the last 20 years.....And of course, weather is always an issue. Last year I arrived the Monday before and the weather was unsettled for 3 days after...cold, snow flurries at the campsite.

Reservations are accepted 6 months prior to arrival.
