Vaulted ceilings...knotty pine...well-maintained...Pella windows...some flaws in the insulation but fixable...exposed piping in the kitchen...solid foundation...

Too bad their ain't a Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, REI, Costco nearby...

Too bad you can't live in it all year...

But would make for a neat retreat...

Wonder if the residents are exempt from the permit process? Nah, too good to be true.

And don't forget the clean-up and repair expenses after a deluge like last week's. Not to mention rockfall year-round. I was looking very closely at these cabins the last few days while we were at the Portal and they're built on some extremely steep slopes. Wonder what the insurance runs . . .
