Climbed up to Mt. Russell last Saturday (June 9). The ridge is free of snow, no gear needed.

Thank you. With the right beta, it isn't that bad. The sand slog from Clyde Meadow was the most difficult physically taxing part of the day.

The second photo from the end is particularly wonderful. Where did you get the beta? Both times I've done it have presented their own different challenges. I guess figuring it out is part of the fun.

Got that right!!! Don't worry about the exposure, that sand/scree slog is what's going to make you want to quit.
