Perfect weather7/15-7/16. Took the switchbacks both up and down. Except for the few well-padded tracks through some snow patches. Trekking poles were great help , but no microspikes or crampons needed. Just my trusty La Sportiva shoes. Saw some people struggling up there with just hooka running shoes! Did get windy at trail camps so best to bring some paracord and tie to rocks, as the stakes are hard to drive in the rock solid sand to pitch the tent. (Saw some guys tent flew off) Otherwise here's my 2 cents for all the help I got from this forum. Good luck!
