She did indeed! When I was up there for the holidays, I was almost inspired to take up knitting/crochet based on the cool stuff she had made for herself/hubbie/boys. Now wouldn't that be a picture: me in camp at the end of the day working my needles on my latest project? shocked

Milo is a total ham-bone in front of the camera (wonder who he takes after), while Jude is the strongest baby in the world. At 10 months and almost 30 pounds, he's moving tables when he kicks. Definitely the anchor of the rope team:

There's the new little dude -- what a cutie pie!!

Someone else in the hiking community knits....is it Betsy? I cannot remember, but I DO remember someone with knitting needles. Some of the novelty items that I have seen in catalogues makes me really jealous.

It is Betsy! I have one of her amazing scarves, SO soft! I'd love to try it out, but I know how that works with me: hobbies turn into quite a bit more entirely too quickly! wink

Oh Laura... I can TOTALLY picture you sitting around a campfire after a long day on a cliff somewhere.... clickety-clicking your knitting needles, making everyone their own personal orange scarfs to commemorate that special day with! smile

This is a little off the subject, but I am PRETTY DARNED PROUD of my Mom... she is blind with Macular Degeneration, yet she makes some of the most amazing stocking hats! Most she donates to cancer patients or new-born babies.... but she's been know to give a few to people who just admire her work. She's also given a number of hats to the homeless shelter residents in San Diego. Brava for my most-amazing Mom!
