Still alot of unstable snow up high.

There is a very hard layer of snow about 3 - 4 feet below the surface, in some areas. Spring often brings very large avalanches in gulleys and other high-angle terrain. Just because the current avalanche danger is generally low, be warned about the potential in the steep stuff like the MR.
