Big Oak Flat Road will reopen on Saturday.
"Big Oak Flat Road in Yosemite National Park will reopen both lanes of traffic at 6 a.m. Saturday.
The road was closed Jan. 22 because of a rock slide. The closure was expected to last until April.
Park spokeswoman Kari Cobb said the damage from the slide turned out to be less serious than first estimated and that mild weather helped speed repairs.
Remaining repairs will take place over the next few weeks and there will be intermittent single-lane closures."
