I am returning to Yosemite May 29, 2013 for 4 days. I would like to hike Upper Yosemite Falls, 4 Mile Hike, and Panorama trail. If there is too much snow for 4 Mile and Panorama what else could I hike (day hike) or do? I will be staying in Yosemite West near the Glacier Point road so I don't want to drive 2 hours up to Toulumne Meadows.

Drive to Wawona. Park & get the Mariposa Grove shuttle. Walk up through the Grove, not missing the Grizzly Giant and the Museum and have lunch at the outlook. Then follow the trail back to the Hotel.

"No telephones or televisions are located in the hotel."

If you look like you belong, you can get in a swim & have a grand (but inexpensive) BBQ on the lawn.

You could also plan on brekkie or dinner in the dining room, which an experience in itself.

Another snow-alternate is Chilnualna Falls.
