Mt Whitney Zone
Project Yosemite hit the trail this weekend with the goal to capture some timelapses from the diving board. We had the pleasure to also be accompanied by some creatives at The Muir Project, which they had a taste of how hard we push ourselves and the amount of time & effort that go into capturing the stuff we do. Here's a shot as we head to the trailhead:

As some of you may already know, Colin Delehanty and I are working on a new timelapse film for Project Yosemite, which will take viewers all across the park through the seasons, and see the grandeur as we see it. This time we're focusing on more wilderness locations, or ones that can be challenging to get to, along with fresh perspectives of things.

Well this weekend we happened to be cast the light of god once we arrived, and our shots are nothing less than spectacular. I wanted to share with the forum a moment I captured as we prepared to sleep the night away. And here for your enjoyment:

The Diving Board

And to follow with a group photo as we made our way back down--I'm missing because I'm behind the camera:

More to come and until next time...
Hey, I've been to all three of those spots! ...only not in February shocked

Fantastic pictures. When I was at the Diving Board, I couldn't get the monolith of Half Dome in the camera view -- it was so huge! You guys had the proper wide-angle lenses.

For fun, here are several more from Sheldon's FB page taken at the Diving Board:

You guys are so freakin' close to the edge there! It's actually an overhanging edge.
These pictures are wonderful! Thanks for posting them.
I can't wait to see more!
