Heading into the Cottonwood Lakes for a few days of backpacking in mid-June. What does the hive-mind have to say about snow conditions and mosquitos?

Skeeters will be at full bite. Bring the 100% DEET.

New Army Pass will be corniced at the top. Army Pass will be a challenge for anyone without requisite skills.

There should not be any blocks getting to the Lakes...I've up in this area in June after the biggest snow years 3 or 4 times.
