My buddy and I are hiking Mt Whitney June 2nd-4th. We've got 2 extra permits from friends backing out and wouldn't mind some extra chill, experienced people on the trail with us. No kooks allowed.

No kidding. My whole family is still in therapy over a couple of days and nights in SEKI with Steve and Wagga. The rigorous therapeutic regime consists of extended hikes, peak bagging, repeated doses of Yos trail time, and visits to the Whitney Zone from both east and west approaches. I am going in for the extended rehab program this summer, 4 weeks between Glacier Point and Horseshoe Meadows, with checkups at the approved clinics at Red's and VVR, minimal contact (40 miles) with the JMT, plus 200 miles off-JMT. Pretty miserable regime, but my docs say its the only hope.
