Hello, My brother and I went to cottonwood lakes last week, you might consider going there It’s a 12 miles round trip

People on Yahoo JMT Group report essentially clear trail from Onion Valley trail head to intersection with JMT starting a couple of weeks ago. I heard a brief dusting of snow quickly melted.

I day hiked Kearsarge Pass on Saturday.......snow free.
