We have an out-of-towner flying in LAX which may keep us from being at the station to pick up unused permits when they are released at 2pm the Wednesday before.

Just looking to see if anyone has permits for 9/27 that they have not yet released online to see if we can work things out.

Keep checking Mt Whitney Trail Day Use availability

There are currently 2 available for Friday, 9/14.

I have been, and shall continue to do so.

I can't imagine there won't be extra permits available at the ranger station on a Thursday in late September.

I have two members of my party that probably won’t be going with us on our Whitney trip. They are overnight permits for 27th and 28th of September.

Our out of towner is taking an earlier flight in, as such, we should be able to be at the VC in time to get walk-ups.
