Just checking to see if anyone got permits for this weekend (day hike or backpacking), We have backpacking reservations for 3 nights from 06/27 to 06/30 but haven’t gotten any cancellations yet.

Mine is for this weekend. I received no email. I checked recreation.gov for my reservation. There is a note at the bottom to call the location closest to your trailhead. I did and had no luck, but I read JAYM's post and he had a permit reservation number. I called it several times and had success. Ranger updated my permit, gave me a quiz, and the emailed me a copy of my permit. I start at Horseshoe Meadows and eventually end up at Whitney Portal. I'm just hoping my sons and their wives / significant others don't get to wild in my house while I'm gone. They've been going a bit stir crazy.
