Assuming I am lucky enough to score a permit this year, how do I make overnight reservations at Trail Camp to break up the trip for me and my wife? I assume that after I am granted a permit, I will have that opportunity but am curious if I missed some other route.

Once you score a permit for the Mount Whitney trail, you can camp at Outpost Camp, Trail Camp, or any other legal campsite along the trail. There are no reservations for campsites.
