Does anyone have a recent "bug report" for Cottonwood Lakes Basin? I'm headed there next week and am contemplating leaving my tent body at home....

This is a little dated, and a few miles off, but I was on New Army early August and they were NASTY. We were running for our lives in the morning hours. My friend and I each literally had at least 30-40 of the little buggers on us.

Bring Deet, a net, or some other alternative. Most went away after an application of Deet but a few hardy ones still did drive bys.
