Thanks! Very inspiring and what a collection of photos! I did Shepherd pass - Whitney, Horseshoe meadow - new army pass - whitney on the trails. Your x-country description makes it very tempting for my next year goal! This fully agrees with what Steve did a few days back! I too was caught on July 20 in that storm on my last day of HST and was snowed and rained on all the way to the Portal. Again thanks for the description and photos!
