Pictures from 17 September: Attempt of Mt. Gould

Of most interest may be the smoke pictures. If you are in the smoke plume, things are not so nice. But probably OK a few miles off the the side.

I find it encouraging that it took THIS long for Bob to meet George. After all, one gets the impression from the boards that the mountains are only as big as the Portal, and that on any given day, any two people coming from any part of the world are going to run into each other on the trail!
