add one more to the "GPS is to blame" stories
The couple were using a GPS unit to navigate when they got lost attempting to take a scenic route to Las Vegas.
Hmmm ... can you really hold a GPS responsible? I mean, a GPS contains the electronic version of a map, a map which was probably first available in paper format. If the couple had been following the paper version, and gotten lost/stuck in the mud, etc, would the reaction be 'add one more to the "map is to blame"'?
Regardless of the tool, we still have to use common sense and good judgement.
My comments in no way suggest that this couple didn't use good judgement, and I hope she will recover and that her husband will be found safe and sound as well.
