Anybody here been to Domeland Wilderness area recently? It is basically the southern tip of the Sierras. Apparently it is not a very popular area when compared to other regions of the Sierras, but still has some good trails. I'm planning a camping/hiking trip memorial day weekend.
Webpages report the area gets very hot in the summer and the best time of year to visit is early summer. There are no permits required
Any first hand information or current reports would be great! I'm curious about road conditions also.
