Jeremy, Thanks for the detailed trip report. Very informative. I planned a trip on July 3rd and am hoping for more snow to melt. If you can, please post your pictures of the switchbacks. I don't expect to summit if there is too much snow but I would like to get as far as possible on this trip before I try again later this summer.
My group of four is made up of first timers so we're not prepared to use crampons, ice axes, or glissade.
