My Panasonic Lumix somehow came unclipped from my pack on the descent from the Boney Fingers (Whale Butress). The last time I used it was near the bottom of the talus on my way out. I had been clipping it onto the shoulder strap of my pack so that I could have easy access.
I walked backed to the talus as it was getting dark to look for it. It was too late and we had to go. I'm guessing that I didn't clip it on securely and it fell at the bottom of the talus field. Plus I had searched the trail (those damn pine cones look just like it in the dark!).
The camera is in it's black leather snap-case and has a Mad Rock wire-gate attached. If anyone finds it, please let me know and we'll work something for shipping and karma. : )
The camera is not that big of a deal, but the images from the day are sorely missed. God, I love the Sierra...
