Since nobody is hiking Whitney...
I tagged along with the local Sierra Club on a Cross-country ski trip in Sequoia N.P. to Buck Rock on Saturday, 1-16-10.
We took the "ridge route", staying off the road for most of the trip.
I fell a bunch of times. Wish I could improve my X-C ski skills. On top of that, after we got home, I took off with family to watch our "little princess" try out ice skating for her very first time. (hated it at first, ended up loving it) It was a very long, but fun day.
